Chemworld International is a leading disperse dye manufacturer and supplier in the USA, providing a comprehensive range of disperse dyes for polyester, acetate, nylon, and triacetate fibers. Disperse dyes are non-ionic, low water-solubility colorants applied as fine aqueous dispersions, the only class of synthetic dye capable of effectively dyeing hydrophobic polyester fibers at high temperature and pressure.
Our disperse dye range covers over 45 shades in blacks, blues, reds, oranges, violets, and yellows, including eco-friendly ECO grades and standard exhaustion dyes for textile manufacturing. We also supply disperse dyes for sublimation printing and heat-transfer applications, a fast-growing segment in sportswear, promotional products, and home textiles.
The color shades displayed should only be considered a representation of the indicated dye or pigment. Actual color can depend on varying factors, including the desired application. Product samples are recommended for testing before use and/or purchase.
Polyester fibers are hydrophobic and have no ionic sites for conventional dye attachment. Disperse dyes are non-ionic and have low water solubility — they penetrate polyester fibers at high temperatures by diffusing into the polymer matrix, achieving excellent wash and light fastness.
Yes. Sublimation printing uses specially selected disperse dyes that vaporize at transfer temperatures (180–220°C) and diffuse into polyester substrates. We supply specific grades optimized for sublimation ink formulation.
Disperse dyes are classified by their thermomigration behavior: Type S (low energy) are suitable for medium-depth shades and acetate; Type E (high energy) provide excellent fastness for polyester; Type SE are intermediate grades. We recommend discussing your specific process conditions with our technical team.
Yes. We carry ECO-suffix grades such as Disperse Black ECO and Disperse Black EXN-SF, which are formulated to reduce harmful byproducts in the dyeing process. These are increasingly required by apparel brands and comply with restricted substances lists (RSL).
No minimum order is required on most SKUs. We supply samples for shade evaluation and bulk quantities for production. Contact us for volume pricing.
Yes. Our team includes experienced colorists who can assist with shade reproduction, uneven dyeing issues, thermomigration problems, and process optimization. Contact us with your process conditions and we will provide guidance.
